Your journey is as unique as you are.
Coaching isn't advice. It's not therapy. It's not someone telling you what to do. According to the ICF — the global gold standard for professional coaching — it's a partnership. A thought-provoking, creative process designed to help you unlock answers you already have inside you. The coach isn't the expert on your life. You are. Your Coach just creates the space for you to finally hear yourself — and act on it.
What is Coaching?
The International Coaching Federation (ICF) defines coaching as a “creative partnership that helps people maximize their full potential.”
What I've found is that high-achieving women have more potential sitting untapped than almost anyone — because they've spent so long channeling it in directions that weren't fully theirs. Coaching changes that.
As an ICF-credentialed coach, I follow the highest professional standards in the industry. Coaching is goal-focused and future-oriented — we build on your strengths, clarify your direction, and create forward momentum. I don’t give advice or tell you what to do. I ask the questions that help you find your own answers.
The Beacon Coach Process
Step 1 — Discovery call
We start with a free 30-minute conversation. I’ll learn about what you’re experiencing, you’ll get a feel for how I work, and together we’ll decide if coaching is the right fit right now.
Step 2 — Goal setting
In our first session, we’ll establish your coaching goals and map where you are today versus where you want to be. This becomes our compass.
Step 3 — The journey
Each session opens with a topic and closes with action. Sessions build on each other, tracking your progress and adjusting as you grow.
Step 4 — Integration
The real transformation happens in your daily life between sessions. You’ll leave every call with clear next steps and the confidence to take them.

How is coaching different from therapy?

Therapy tends to focus on healing the past. Coaching is goal-focused and future-oriented. We build on your strengths, clarify your direction, and create forward momentum. How do sessions work?
